Library Time:

Random thought:
Isn't it so fun to just go through the library and check books out. For some reason I find it fun to do, I can spent hours at the library doing nothing. I am so weird ? Right, Yes I know. I just realized time go so fast when I go to the library probably because I like being around books. This sounds so "nerdy" but it is true.

Comment if that happens to you too but also comment about any random thought. Freedom of Speech. LOL

Have a nice day !

Doing so much Homework that is due tomorrow which is why I am not typing a longer blogger post. Sorry for the inconvenience :D

Reading More Than one book at a time?

I totally do not know how some people do it. Yerp. You guys are all probably like what is this girl talking about?

Well I am talking about reading more than one book at a time. How is that even possible, I tried to do it but is just a big failure because I sometimes forget what happened in the other book or get the plots mixed up and at the end do not get what I read from any of the books. I am just the type of person who has to read one book at a time and then after I finish that book I start a new one.

That just totally came into my head while I was on Goodreads checking new books coming out in January 2013. Like OMG 2013 is going to be EPIC. All the books I see in Goodreads for 2013 look awesome and they are totally going to be on my bookshelf. I just hope we survive the end of the world (2012). HAHA I am just kidding I do not believe in that even though I have also seen the movie of what could happen which was called 2012. Loved the movie but I do not believe that would happen, that is my opinion some people might think other things. Well anyways back to what I was saying how do some of you guys read like literally 4 to 5 books at a time. I tried to read two books at a time once and I could not do it so I could never believe myself reading 4, 5, or up to 6 books at a time which is what a lot of people are doing to finish books fast.

Books are not to read fast, they are for enjoyment, people now read in a hurry to do book reviews, just enjoy the book and then do the book review. There is no point in rushing and playing with your brain reading 5 books just to have like 5 book reviews in one day. Some people do not even sleep reading books at times like your health is more important than not sleeping for two days to finish a book. Well I just exaggerated just sleep guys and continue reading the book the next day. I do have to say that books are amazing, some and they just make you want to keep reading without stop but you have to able to control your temptations. Okay too much talking, I am done. Douses :D

What do you guys think about this issue? well is not an issue, but about this that I just talked about.

Leave comments below :D Everybody can say what ever they want. Freedom of Speech. LOL.

 Have a nice day !
Reading for 24 hours straight:                                                   &
The Next Morning How People Literally Look when they wake up. I have to admit it has happened to me D:

How to Make Reading More Fun:

1. Read the book you are interested in ( not one your Humanities teacher forced you to read ).
2. Eat something before you start reading. (hunger while reading makes it really stressful and make the book seen extremely boring).
3. Drink hot chocolate, or Coffee, I prefer hot chocolate ! :D
4. Go to a really quiet place & comfortable as well ( I prefer a couch or in my bed ).
5. Pray that it starts raining ( for some reason I like to read more when is raining ).
6. Pray it stops raining when is time for you to go outside (LOL jk)
7. Read at a pace your comfortable with.
8. Imagine yourself in that position.
9. Just think about the book keep other personal thoughts away because it would just make you want to stop reading.
10. Do homework and chores before you start reading because as your reading your going to feel stressed by just thinking about all the things you have to do after you finish reading.
 11. Keep reading ! Don't force yourself to read more than you want because is just going to make you feel as if it a command to finish the book instead of a form of enjoyment.
12. Enjoy the book ! :D

>>Thanks for reading <<
Comment if you have any more ideas or if you agree or any other random idea in your head ! :D

Have a nice day ! ^.^

P.S. Here are some positions you could take to feel comfortable while reading. Warning some may may not work for you HAHA.

Skinny by Donna Cooner: (Reactions)

Omg I am half way in this book and all I have to say is that this book is amazing and it has taught me many things so far. A lesson I have learned is that people sometimes can treat someone badly just because they are overweight. Ever has faced lots of things and this book has made me understand that people go through a horrible experience when overweight. This book made me keep reading as soon as I finished the first page, no joke it literally did. I would have to finish the whole book to find out if this is really a 5/5 book but so far it is. I hope I do not get disappointed at the end.

Okay enough of me. What are you guys reading. Comment below and tell me if you are liking the book.

Have a nice day !

In My Mailbox (ARC) Yes!:

Splintered by A.G. Howard
This stunning debut captures the grotesque madness of a mystical under-land, as well as a girl’s pangs of first love and independence. Alyssa Gardner hears the whispers of bugs and flowers—precisely the affliction that landed her mother in a mental hospital years before. This family curse stretches back to her ancestor Alice Liddell, the real-life inspiration for Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Alyssa might be crazy, but she manages to keep it together. For now.

When her mother’s mental health takes a turn for the worse and the whispers grow too strong to bear, Alyssa learns that what she thought was fiction is based in terrifying reality. The real Wonderland is a place far darker and more twisted than Lewis Carroll ever let on. There, Alyssa must pass a series of tests, including draining an ocean of Alice’s tears, waking the slumbering tea party, and subduing a vicious bandersnatch, to fix Alice’s mistakes and save her family. She must also decide whom to trust: Jeb, her gorgeous best friend and secret crush, or the sexy but suspicious Morpheus, her guide through Wonderland, who may have dark motives of his own.

Unless she fixes the things her great-great-great grandmother Alice put wrong, Wonderland will have her head.

Thanks,
Amulet Books for this GREAT ARC ! LOVING THE BOOK SOOO FAR ! :D

In My Mailbox: (ARC)

Astrid Jones copes with her small town's gossip and narrow-mindedness by staring at the sky and imagining that she's sending love to the passengers in the airplanes flying high over her backyard. Maybe they'll know what to do with it. Maybe it'll make them happy. Maybe they'll need it. Her mother doesn't want it, her father's always stoned, her perfect sister's too busy trying to fit in, and the people in her small town would never allow her to love the person she really wants to: another girl named Dee. There's no one Astrid feels she can talk to about this deep secret or the profound questions that she's trying to answer. But little does she know just how much sending her love--and asking the right questions--will affect the passengers' lives, and her own, for the better.

In this unmistakably original portrayal of a girl struggling to break free of society's boxes and definitions, Printz Honor author A.S. King asks readers to question everything--and offers hope to those who will never stop seeking and sharing real love.

P.S. By Hip Scouts,

Thanks :D

Ender's Game Book Review:

 Ender's Game
 By Orson Scott Card
by Tor Science Fiction
Published: July 15th, 1994

Winner of the Hugo and Nebula Awards

In order to develop a secure defense against a hostile alien race's next attack, government agencies breed child geniuses and train them as soldiers. A brilliant young boy, Andrew "Ender" Wiggin lives with his kind but distant parents, his sadistic brother Peter, and the person he loves more than anyone else, his sister Valentine. Peter and Valentine were candidates for the soldier-training program but didn't make the cut—young Ender is the Wiggin drafted to the orbiting Battle School for rigorous military training.

Ender's skills make him a leader in school and respected in the Battle Room, where children play at mock battles in zero gravity. Yet growing up in an artificial community of young soldiers Ender suffers greatly from isolation, rivalry from his peers, pressure from the adult teachers, and an unsettling fear of the alien invaders. His psychological battles include loneliness, fear that he is becoming like the cruel brother he remembers, and fanning the flames of devotion to his beloved sister.

Is Ender the general Earth needs? But Ender is not the only result of the genetic experiments. The war with the Buggers has been raging for a hundred years, and the quest for the perfect general has been underway for almost as long. Ender's two older siblings are every bit as unusual as he is, but in very different ways. Between the three of them lie the abilities to remake a world. If, that is, the world survives.
Ender's Game is the winner of the 1985 Nebula Award for Best Novel and the 1986 Hugo Award for Best Novel.

This book was definitely something weird and new I have never liked a science fiction book until I read the Ender's Game I have to say that this book was a page turner for me. I had to read this book for my summer reading at first I was just like NO! I don't want to read a science fiction but I did like more than I expected.

First of all I liked the idea of how Ender went to military school at a young age in space. His brother Peter was expressed as pure evil throughout the book. Ender had a strong relationship with his sister Valentine, stronger than the repationship he had with his parents. Ender was taking to military school at the age of 7 and learned all the new skills fast. Peter was jealous of how Ender was chosen to go to military school but he wasn't. So, Peter hated his brother Ender A LOT because of this reason. Ender used to play a mind game who made him have lots of nightmares and feel depressed because he encountered lots of things that had to do with his brother Peter. Ender was always scared to be pure evil like his brother, he always felt bad when he had to fight or get into a battle with someone.

Valentine his sister was a really sweet girl which I adored and will forever be remembered by me because she was  always there for Ender during the good and hard moments during his life. Ender didn't quite fit at the beginning when he was taking to military school but later during the book he got more comfortable but of course also faced some struggles during some moments. The plot of this book was absolutely insane for me because I have never read something like that and the characters were all awesome except Peter which I hated because of his bad attitude towards my "brother" Ender. I loved how Scott wrote this book Yes I did find some of his writing hard to understand! but I got through it because my vocabulary was to complex for his hard words (just at times).

Do I reccommend this book?

Yes I do and I give this book a 4.5 /5

Book That Has Been On My WIshlist for A long Time:

Skinny by Donna Cooner:

SkinnyFind your voice.

Hopeless. Freak. Elephant. Pitiful. These are the words of Skinny, the vicious voice that lives inside fifteen-year-old Ever Davies’s head. Skinny tells Ever all the dark thoughts her classmates have about her. Ever knows she weighs over three hundred pounds, knows she’ll probably never be loved, and Skinny makes sure she never forgets it.

But there is another voice: Ever’s singing voice, which is beautiful but has been silenced by Skinny. Partly in the hopes of trying out for the school musical—and partly to try and save her own life—Ever decides to undergo a risky surgery that may help her lose weight and start over.

With the support of her best friend, Ever begins the uphill battle toward change. But demons, she finds, are not so easy to shake, not even as she sheds pounds. Because Skinny is still around. And Ever will have to confront that voice before she can truly find her own.

The reason I haven't been blogging is because my family and I took a vacation to Philadelphia and I did not have a computer to access and post on my blog. So sorry. I tried to do it via phone but it didn't let me. But I did enjoyed a lot being in another state.

Have a nice day. I would do the giveaway sometime today or tomorrow because I am really tired I haven't slept well the days of the vacation and have been on a car for 7 hours.
